Why do you do this?

We've had a large Christmas display for years, and in 2008 we decided to take the leap into the digital era and do a light show. We do it because we love seeing the faces of joy and amusement as people pass driving down the road. Also, we do it for the sake of the holiday season to help people remeber what this great season is all about.

How many lights do you have?

We get this question quite often and it's always hard to answer. We've got tens of thousands of lights... You try and count them!

How much power does it take?

We have our own breaker box in our garage that supplies the same amount to our lights as our house!

How much is your electric bill?

In all honesty, not that much! Seeing as the lights in our show are hardly ever all on at the same time, we see little to no difference in our power bill during December!

How are you transmitting your music to my radio?

We use a small FM transmitter the broadcasts on 107.1FM. It only transmits a short distance which allows people to listen to the music within sight of our display.

How much time does it take?

We program our songs all throught the year (Each song takes several hours to program) and actual setup takes about a month - We start right after Halloween!

How do you control the lights?

We control our display using Light-O-Rama software and hardware.

How much have you spent on your display?

A lot!
